Hand-capping is the step that quietly ruins a run. Torque drifts as the operator gets tired, some units back off in transit, some crush the liner, and the ones that leak get found by the customer rather than by you. It's also the slowest part of the job by a wide margin.

A capper fixes the variable rather than the symptom: the closure is applied the same way every time, to a torque that's set once and repeated. Whether that's a pick-and-place head or a rotary chuck depends on the closure — trigger sprayers, pumps, flip-tops, droppers and plain screw caps all behave differently, and the honest answer about which mechanism suits yours comes after we've had one in our hands.
